This support article explains how to manage your account including settings and viewing your option grant details.
After signing up to Capdesk (see article here if you have not signed up) you can now log in and you will find three headers: Portfolio, Administrated and Viewed.
Your portfolio will show you all the companies that have listed your grants on Capdesk for you to see.
You can select the arrow next to a company's name to see all of your grants with that company. You can then select a grant to open a pull-out window that will display the details of the grant.
The value of the grant in your configured portfolio display currency based on an estimated share price value registered by the granting company (if applicable).
These are details of the grant including exercise price and grant/expiry dates.
This section describes your vesting schedule and shows you how many options have currently vested and how many you have left to vest.
Any valuations relevant to your grant that the company has recorded on Capdesk will be displayed here.
Any notes added by the company will be shown here.
Any documents uploaded by the company relevant to the grant will be found here, if you have signed a grant online, this is where you could find your signed copy of the agreement.
Here you can see a list of any and all transactions that have been actioned on the grant, including exercises, share splits and lapses.
If you have executed the grant online this should be marked as Issuance Execution Completed.
In addition to viewing your grant, you can add your other investments on Capdesk (if you have invested in other companies). You can find out how to do that here.
5 icons in the top right-hand corner of Capdesk
Documents: if you have any documents attached to your transactions recorded on Capdesk, you should find them here (possibly EIS certificate, share certificate, shareholder agreement, etc.)
Notifications: if a company you've invested in has any news published you can find out about it here.
Personal: this icon provides a list of different personal settings you can adjust and the log out button:
From these settings, you can change personal details such as address and phone number on the "Legal Identity Page", update information about yourself like adding a picture or adding your social media links on the "About You" page, change your password and add secondary emails on the "Capdesk Account" page (more information available here: Secondary Emails) and also configure your personal preferences from the "Preferences" page.
Support: this icon will provide 3 options: Submit a support ticket, Help centre and Refer a Friend.
Selecting "Help Centre" will bring you to our support site: www.support.capdesk.com where we have support articles and videos to help explain how to manage your capdesk account.
If you select "Submit a support ticket" you will be brought to this page where you can enter details of a problem you may be issuing or request an answer that the help centre does not provide.
Selecting "Refer a Friend" will bring you to a page where you can enter your own details and that of your referral. We highly recommend trying it!
