Understanding the viewing capabilities of your stakeholders
Upon logging in to Capdesk, all stakeholders will be directed to the 'Portfolio' landing page where they can view the details of any equity they hold.
You can see above that the 'Current Holdings' menu shows the company a stakeholder owns equity in and the details of this equity. The share numbers, share class, votes & amount invested can also be viewed. If you have added a public valuation, a value estimate will also display.
Shareholders can access the company’s page and details by clicking on the hyperlinked company name. Shareholders can access different areas of Capdesk through the left hand side menu. The information they can view will depend on the settings you have enabled, choosing from the below options:
- Cap Table
- Funding rounds (within Shares area)
- Share classes (within Shares area)
- Incentive Pool
- Share Grants (Growth Shares)
Optionholders will not have access to the company’s page as shareholders do. They can only click on the option grant which provides more information about their equity. The details of this will be shown on the right hand side and includes details of the grant, vesting schedule, valuations, any notes / documents and transactions.
If an optionholder has been added as a company administrator, they will still be able to view all company information when logging in.
